SpokenCode

SpokenCode is a desktop application for Windows that lets you write code, run terminal commands, and dictate text — entirely by voice, hands-free.

Press a global hotkey from any application, speak naturally, and SpokenCode automatically types the result into whatever is currently on your screen: your code editor, terminal, browser, chat app, or anything else.

How SpokenCode Works

SpokenCode has two modes, both triggered with the same global hotkey (Ctrl + Win). You choose which mode is active in Settings.

ModeWhat it does
Transcription ModeConverts your speech to plain text and types it where your cursor is
Snippet ModeConverts your speech to code, shell commands, translations, or AI answers using voice command keywords

You trigger the snippet mode by starting your sentence with a reserved keyword, which you can see a list of here: Voice Commands
